VILLAGE OF BRUCE 2017 BOARD OF REVIEW

According to the public notice, Open Book for the 2017 Assessment Roll was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 100 W. River Avenue, Bruce, Wisconsin. Cindy Chase, Village Assessor, was available for questions.

Mike Newman called to order the 2017 Board of Review at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017. A roll call was taken and the following were present; Mike Newman, Gayanne Skogen, Bobbi Jo Fillion, Mark Zimmer, John Hoiby, Terry Hegeholz and Assessor Cindy Chase.

Motion by Zimmer, seconded by Skogen to nominate Mike Newman to serve as chairperson, carried.

Newman noted that mandated training requirements for certification were fulfilled by Mike Newman, Terry Hegeholz & Jessica Hayes in 2016 and Gayanne Skogen, Mark Zimmer and John Hoiby in 2017.

Newman stated the Assessment Roll was examined by the Clerks and they found it correct. The Notices of Assessment for property values that were changed were mailed out to property owners on April 24, 2017 by Cindy Chase.

With no appearances during the required two hour time limit, Newman called for a motion to close the 2017 Board of Review. Motion by Skogen, seconded by Hoiby to close the 2017 Board of Review, carried.  The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
