VILLAGE OF BRUCE
2020 CAUCUS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the 2020 Village of Bruce Caucus was held on Tuesday,
January 7, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 100 W. River Avenue, Bruce, Wisconsin.
Village President Shane Trott called to order the Caucus at 6:00 p.m. Clerk Jessica Hegeholz attended and a sign in sheet was circulated. The first order of business was to elect a Chairperson to run the Caucus. Trott called for nominations for Chairperson.
Motion by Mark Zimmer to appoint Shane Trott as Chairperson, seconded by Larry Cabak. Trott called twice for any other nominations for Chairperson. Shane Trott was unanimously appointed as Chairperson to run the Caucus.
Chairperson Trott called for nominations for two tellers to canvass votes for the Caucus. Motion by Gayanne Skogen to nominate Larry Cabak as teller, seconded by Mark Zimmer. Motion by Mark Zimmer to nominate Avery Newman as teller, seconded by Galen Brainerd.
The following positions which terms expire April 15th, 2020 are listed. The Spring Election will be held on April 7th, 2020.

Vacant Position for Village Trustee
Motion by Gayanne Skogen to nominate Mark Zimmer for Village Trustee, seconded by Galen Brainerd.
Motion by Mark Zimmer to nominate Gayanne Skogen for Village Trustee, seconded by Larry Cabak.
Chairperson Trott called twice for further nominations for Village Trustees. With none made, he called for a motion to close nominations. Motion by Larry Cabak to close nominations for Village Trustees, seconded by Galen Brainerd.
Chairperson Trott called for a motion to adjourn. Motion by Mark Zimmer to adjourn the 2020 Village of Bruce Caucus, seconded by Gayanne Skogen.
The Caucus adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
